Bio
April Warren was born in Kingston, NY. She grew up in the Hudson Valley and received a BFA in Drawing and Painting from SUNY New Paltz in 2002. April spent the next several years learning all about food service and commercial fine art production, while continuing to produce art of her own, spending most of her time in Brooklyn, NY. In 2006, chased from a Brooklyn sublet by bedbugs, she found herself working in retail in Kingston, NY once again. She is a co-curator of the Unison Gallery at Water Street Market in New Paltz, NY, with good friend and fellow artist Eileen Brand Hedley. In a fairly recent effort to expand her job horizons, she has returned to SUNY New Paltz as an MFA Visual Arts candidate, with an intended graduation date of May 2010.
